Sustainable nutrients

for a food secure future

InsFeed is a biotechnology company dedicated to transform organic waste into sustainable animal and plant nutrients through the farming of Black Soldier Fly.

World population is projected to reach 9.8 Billion in 2050 and it is expected that global food demand will increase by 70%.

A quarter of the world protein is consumed by farm animals, highly dependant on vegetal protein, which consume scarce resources such as water and soil.

Industrial farming of insects could provide a sustainable, profitable and constant source of nutrients for the growing food demand within our planet.

Insect breeding leverages pre-consumer by-product waste as insect feed, committing to circular economy principles, while requiring less water and land than traditional animal feed ingredients.

Insect farming is yet to be majorly developed in an industrial and scalable way in order to meet the increasing market volume demand.

InsFeed is developing innovative and efficient processes to substantially improve the affordability for this new source of sustainable nutrients.
